Give yourself a quick facial massage


Wouldn’t it be great if you have extra money everyday so that you can afford the expensive facial treatments offered in spas and facial salons? Unfortunately, this is just a dream for some women. They are already lucky enough if they have experience a facial massage once a week. Some don’t have enough money while others simply don’t have enough time.

But session of facials such as facial massage does not have to be time-consuming or expensive. As a matter of fact, you can do it at home, everyday! However, in order to have an effective facial massage, you must do it the right way.

First of all before you massage yourself you must know what skin type you do have. This is to determine what oil you need to apply in order to massage your skin thoroughly. If you think your skin is aging or you have a dry type of skin, you may choose from the various kinds of essential oils such as wheat germ, avocado, apricot, or macadamia. On the other hand, oily skin must use thistle, hazelnut, or peach kernel. As for the normal skin, almond or sunflower oil can be the best option.

Once you know which oil to use, simply pour at least one tablespoon of the oil in your hand. Rub it so that the other hand will have an equal amount of oil as well. Start the massage in your neck going up to your face. Always use an outward and an upward sweeping motion so that your skin will not have the tendency to sag.

When massaging your face, you must use the index and the middle finger. It must begin in your chin going up to the front of the ears. Do this step for up to two to three minutes or until you feel that your jaw is already relaxed.

Afterwards, you may now start massaging your nose. Simply hold your fingers together making sure that your fingers are pointing to your brow. Just hold your fingers straight for up to four seconds as you press your hands firmly at the sides of your nose. After doing so, you may release the hands lightly and roll it in your cheeks. Again, using your index and middle finger, slide the hands outwards. Stop just a few inches away from your eyes and then apply firm pressure. Hold this for at least 2 minutes and repeat it if you want.
